Tis’ Hump Day and a gorgeous Fall Day(almost there officially) at that!

keep-calm-it-s-hump-day-wednesdayAs if you need a reminder?!? It’s hump day!  Hump days are a wonderful thing…Half way there…Oh, Oh..Living on a prayer…Yep…But, Oh yeah…I am a parent…so do we have hump days?!? Hellz yes! Especially when we are off and they are at school. He He!

I am off and about…It is a gorgeous almost fall day. The sun is hitting the trees/leaves in the most amazing way. The air is crisp and blowing! Can it get any better? I suppose, but this is pretty darn good. I am not going to complain!

I’m dropping by Starbucks..which presently my Bank of America Card gives me 10% cash back.  YESSSS ~ It is Pumpkin Caramel Latte time with  a nice walk.

Enjoy your hump day! May it be magnificent like you!

Monday Morning Musings from a Breaking Bad Fan…Tears of a Clown..

Breaking Bad

Breaking Bad

Monday, Monday…So good to me..Yeah, right! I have to say though that the Sunday night blues are not so bad anymore with the advent of decent television! I remember the days of NOTHING on Sunday nights..except a good read going, a slight headache from the Pink Elephant games and the dread of waking at 5am the next day.  Now, I can’t record all my shows at one time. HA! Sunday nights have never been better!

I won’t really give much spoilers..though they are out there in an abundance. If you have never seen this show or haven’t watched yet ~ 1) Start watching NOW  2) Don’t read much further for a hint of a spoiler, the series ends in two episodes **tears**

I just have to say last night’s episode of  Breaking Bad’s  “Ozymandias” was one of the best. “Ozymandias” was a sonnet written in 1818 by Percy Shelley with the central theme being  “the inevitable decline of all leaders, and of the empires they build, however mighty in their own time…”  It left me jumping up and down and clutching my chest.  Amazing performances by the entire cast. The writing, the directing.. WOW!

The beginning  flash backed to a pregnant Skylar packing up a small ebay clown that she sold(clown crying)  and also the inception of Walt’s cooking and lies.. It showed how he initially struggled with this persona and the end of the show was absolutely magnificent and sad with the pending demise. It left me panting for next Sunday. Damn!!  Did anyone else think of Smokey Robinson’s “Tears of a Clown”?  I can’t get that song out of my head…

Well, it was SCENTsational.  I had a huge candle by Goose Creek Candle Company burning – Orange Tree.  May as well have been Money Tree and the Family tree..because I think that just went right down in flames..Right, WW!
